Islantilla Golf inaugurated in 1992 has
since become one of the best and most well-known
Spanish golf courses in Europe. Situated 125
kms. from Seville Airport (Lepe, Huelva) Spain.
80 km from Faro Airport (Portugal)
In 1995 it was the venue for the Turespaņa
Masters won by Alex Cejka, as well as
various Challenge Tour tournaments,
including the APG of Spain. This has
given a great status and reputation to
Islantilla, which in the year 2000 was placed
among the top 100 golf courses in Europe by the
prestigious magazine Golf Digest
27 holes, three different courses
surrounded by leafy vegetation and impressive
sea-views. The careful design of its Pencross
greens and Agrostis Fairways give the course
great quality and variety.
The smooth slopes, the water, its landscape, its
climate, turn golf into a real pleasure for all
type of players and handicaps.

has already hosted the most prestigious golf
events, including the Spanish PGA, the
Challenge Tour and the Turespaņa Masters

The club house
is in a privileged location, on a hill, with
spectacular views of the golf course and the
sea. It is designed in colonial style and
decorated with exquisite taste, making it
one of Islantilla’s points of reference and a
perfect place to relax after the course.
The club house
has all the facilities necessary for you to
enjoy your visit. We have a changing room
service with lockers, sauna and a magnificent
swimming pool with spacious gardens. They also
offer you the hire of golf buggies,
electric trolleys, carts, club, and the
driving range has a capacity for more than
60 people, including huge Chipping-green and
Putting-Green areas |

The Islantilla Top Golf
Academy programs have been developed by our
professionals (members of the PGA) following the most
advanced teaching trends and combining the traditional
systems with state-of-the-art computer and video
analysis technologies, focused on improving your game
both from a technical and intellectual point of view.
The Practice Course is without doubt, one of the
most spacious and best equipped in Andalusia.
There is a grass Practice
Tee for more than 60 people, of 260 metres in
length. A chipping green with three bunkers, two putting
greens and a covered practice area.

Holes 1 to 9,
hilly, most holes require blind second shots
with the 2nd hole, a par 3 150 m long, where a
pond requires a perfect shot from tee. Hole 7, a
long par 5 where two perfect shots with wood are
required to reach the hole with birdie options.
Holes from 10
to 18 are surrounded by hills and it is
practically impossible to find stances with the
ball on the same level as your feet. Hole 12, a
par 5 dog leg to the right requires two perfect
fade shots to reach the green in three.
Holes from 19
to 27 require long drives, with long pars 4,
especially at hole 27. A regular Westerly wind
complicates the course, difficult by itself
without the added features ! |
